History of company REALISTIC reaches up to year 1927. Since 1950s REALISTIC is considered as a leading manufacturer of industrial furnaces. The great strengths of the company are tradition, quality and reliability. On these three important pillars rely significant Czech as well as world engineering companies.

We are holder of ISO 9001 quality certificate issued by a prestigious organization Bureau Veritas.

History

The company was founded in 1927 by a hairdresser Josef Mayer (1881 – 1952) and initially produced hair dryers and other utensils for hairdressers. Mr. Josef Mayer invented and started producing special device that brought revolution to the way hairdressing was done. System “REALISTIC” was patented all over the world.

Products from 1927 to 1945

Company produced hairdressing machines.

Products from 1946 till present day

After cancelling previous production program, the company started producing electric furnaces and first products were designed for porcelain factories in the vicinity of Karlovy Vary. In 1950s and 1960s many furnaces were successfully produced and commissioned for engineering industry, ceramic and glass industry in Czechoslovakia and then abroad. Products of company Realistic were bought by all prestigious Czechoslovakia’s industrial companies.

In year 1982 Realistic became part of ZEZ Praha concern. The company expanded to interesting markets all over the world. Worth mention are especially annealing lines for aluminum delivered to Algeria or chamber furnace delivered to Switzerland.

After privatization in year 1996 company Realistic s.r.o. follows up its production of devices designed for all industrial areas with main focus on forges and foundries, but also on automotive and aerospace industry. The company has dynamically expanded and since year 2001 became joint stock company.

Since year 2004 the company is holder of quality certificate ISO 9001.

In 2009 there was a reconstruction of the premises with support of OPPI

In 2011, there was a reconstruction of office space for company management and for the business and technology department.

Memberships

Since year 2006 we are member of SVAZ KOVÁREN ČR (Ordinary member of the Association of European forging associations EUROFORGE) where we have our representative in the board of directors. We are active members, we publish in the Kovárenství magazine and often lecture at conferences. More about the union at www.skcr.org.
